Brightmoor Alliance

The Brightmoor Alliance is a coalition of nearly 50 organizations dedicated to serving northwest Detroit’s Brightmoor community. Together, the Alliance pursues a vision for the community that is built on faith and provides opportunities for all residents of this community to pray, grow, learn, thrive and play.

Brightmoor Community Outreach Specialist, College and Career Access Network: This grant provides salary support for a Community Outreach Specialist (COS) to coordinate, plan and manage Brightmoor community initiatives, including activities related to making college and careers more accessible for youth and connecting families with young children to community services.

Enrichment Activities for Brightmoor Children (RISING: Advocates for Young Children): This grant improves the care extended to children during the summer by coordinating special field trips to cultural and recreational destinations.
