Living Arts

Living Arts’ mission is to ignite creativity in the lives of Detroit youth through the performing, visual and media arts. Their vision is for a future in which all youth have access to engaging, high-quality arts experiences so that they can lead with confidence and empathy, drawing strength from their cultures and communities.

PROJECT AWARDED

Strengthening Detroit Educators, Families, and Young Children through the Performing Arts: Living Arts continues to be a high quality arts-education provider of intensive professional development in Detroit’s PreK and HeadStart systems. This funding will help to provide for the continuation of support for Brightmoor Quality Initiative (BQI) providers as they work towards kindergarten readiness through arts integration.
