With more than 30 years of high impact work, Michigan Women Forward (MWF) is devoted to fostering economic empowerment for Michigan’s women and girls through philanthropy and investment. In response to a compelling need that exists still today for women to further advance their social, economic and professional well-being to an equitable level in society, MWF and its partners and supporters have committed financially and intellectually to leaving this world a better place for women and girls.
Community Impact Notes ($500,000): This loan will be utilized as a loss reserve for Community Impact Notes, which will be used to fund MWF’s efforts to advance women’s entrepreneurship, specifically a Microloan Fund through which MWF provides capital to women entrepreneurs who would not otherwise have access to funding.
