Norton Museum of Art

The Norton Museum of Art was founded in 1941 by Ralph Hubbard Norton (1875-1953) and his wife Elizabeth Calhoun Norton (1881-1947), Chicago residents with a passion for art. At the time of its founding, the Norton was the only art museum in the West Palm Beach community. In 2013, the museum embarked on an ambitious expansion project, affirming its presence as the preeminent art institution in South Florida.

PROJECT AWARDED

West Palm Beach Art Kits: The Norton Museum of Art has pivoted its programming in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. One of its most successful new initiatives has been the production and distribution of at-home art kits, especially aimed at families without internet connectivity. Funding for this project provides the necessary materials for families to engage in high-quality art instruction at home.
