The Foundation is pleased to announce that Jenn Fahnestock has been promoted after nearly 18 years of service. Effective this January, Jenn will move from Grants and Operations Manager to Director of Operations and Grants Management.

“During her nearly 18 years with the Foundation, Jenn has consistently proven herself and grown professionally into this role that officially recognizes the contributions she has been making for some time now,” said Douglas Bitonti Stewart, Executive Director of the Max M. & Marjorie S. Fisher Foundation.

Jenn began her tenure at the Foundation as an administrative assistant, moving on to new roles as an executive assistant and into grants management. This move formally recognizes Jenn’s increased responsibility at Fisher, especially in recent years as her work related to data management, board governance, and grant processes has greatly expanded.

“I am greatly honored to step into this new role at Fisher,” Jenn said. “I feel so fortunate to have spent so much of my career with such an impactful organization learning from Doug, one of the best leaders in the sector, and the incredibly inspiring Fisher family. This promotion is a personal milestone and a testament to the collective efforts of the entire Foundation staff team.”

Jenn will continue to support the internal Fisher staff team, the Foundation’s Committee Members and Trustees, and all current and prospective grant partners through the LOI and application processes.
